The Horizontes Sector of Área de Conservación Guanacaste (ACG) is quickly becoming a hub for tropical dry forest education, tourism, and community connection. Now, with your support, it will soon host a flagship Visitor Center—a true “Gateway to the Tropical Dry Forest.”
This new Center will welcome people into ACG, spark conservation action, strengthen community ties, and launch unforgettable educational adventures. Each year, thousands of visitors will pass through its doors, leaving with a deeper understanding of biodiversity and a stronger commitment to protecting it. By channeling tourism through a thoughtfully designed site, the Center will help manage growth responsibly and showcase Horizontes as a model for sustainable tourism within this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
